is in the lamp so you can adjust viewing height. Ideal

The Wireless Clock Radio Lamp Camera has a range of
up to 700 feet line of sight, however with the optional
Commercial Grade Transmitter you can expect to achieve
up to 3000 feet depending on the number and type of
walls you are transmitting through. The Wireless Clock
Radio Lamp Camera folds down into a pyramid shape when
lamp is not in use. When using lamp the top part of
the clock radio extends in an upwards position.
