Login from anywhere. Computer based video surveillance from
home or work. If you already have a computer that meets the
minimum requirements, then all you need is a DVR card. It
will install in a vacant PCI slot in your tower or desktop
computer. Sorry, but DVR Cards will not
work in a laptop. They come in 4, 6, 8, 12, and 16 camera
cards. Select between Geovision and Advance. Advance DVR cards
are stackable. This means that as your budget permits, you
can add cards until you reach your desired amount of cameras.

you do not want to use your own pc, then purchase a DVR.
A digital video recorder is Windows-based and its sole purpose
is to perform surveillance for you. They come in 4, 8, 16,
and 32 camera set-ups.

Geovision DVR cards offer state of the art technology
and functionality. The included DVR software allows
you to view your DVR anywhere in the world over
the internet. Schedule recording, set motion detection
areas for each camera individually, be paged or
emailed when motion is detected. Control your
PTZ camera from right in the program. Have up
to 16 cameras and 480 frames a second. Audio available.
Burn the video to a CD or email it to the authorities
if need be. H.264 Compression.
This
is the most absolute basic method of surveillance
or video capture.This device can record/view video
as well as take snapshots. There is no motion
detection option for recording and no software
for remote viewing. We do not recommend laptops
for long- term surveillance.
