There are 2 primary types of microphones:

  • Line level
    • Line level will connect directly to VCR, TV, or a transmitter with RCA style connector.
    • These are typically amplified mics.
    • The PSC-1116 and PSC-1119 are both line level microphones.
  • Mic level.
    • Mic level will connect directly to a "mic in" on computer, DVR, or to the mic in on a tape recorder via the mini jack on said units.
    • These are typically non-amplified mics.
    • The PSC-1120 is a mic level microphone.

PSC-1116 high gain microphone. Operates on 9 or 12 volts with 10ma power consumption. Use a 9 volt alkaline battery or use one of our 12 volt battery holders. This mic is equipped with RCA jack for audio connection and standard female barrel connector for power. Includes 9 volt AC power supply and 9 volt battery clip. Most popular with investigators for body worn applications.

PSC-1119 high gain amplified microphone. Operates on 9 volts and will last 500 hours on 1 high quality 9 volt alkaline battery. Comes with 10, 25, or 50 ft. long cord with RCA jack end for audio connection and 9 volt clip connector for power. Purchase this microphone with 10, 25, or 50 ft lead.
Includes 9 volt power supply as well.

PSC-1119
Speaker operates on one 9 volt battery or AC power supply. Measures 2-1/2" X 3" X 1-1/8". Volume control and on/off switch. 1 Line in jack (we include mini jack to RCA jack adapter), 1 earphone jack, and 1 AC power jack(ac power supply not included)
