Wireless
security transmitters and receivers:
This selection allows you to purchase a transmitter
with receiver. Some of these have audio jacks as well
as video jacks. All of our 1.2GHz transmitters only
come with audio & video jacks. 1.2GHz comes in 1000
ft, 5000 ft, and 7000 ft. LOS.
2.4GHz comes in 700 ft. and 15 mile LOS. If you already
have a camera or microphone, then this is probably the
selection for you. All of our transmitters include receiver
as well as ac adapters and cables.
Many people already have some sort of camera, such as
a board, bullet, or infrared for example. These transmitters
will allow you to make your camera wireless. These
are all complete packages with ac adapters, battery
packs, and cables necessary to connect directly to your
VCR or TV.
Wireless transmitters come in 4 different frequencies,
1.2GHz, 2.4GHz, 900mhz, and 434mhz. The long range 2.4GHz
has a 15 mile line of site. It comes in an indoor and
an outdoor version. The ourdoor is equipped with NEMA
4 housing to withstand rain and snow.
The commercial 1.2GHz has a 5000 ft. line of site and
does not get interference from 2.4GHz cordless phones.
Also 1.2GHz is best for moving objects such as walking.
434Mhz does not require a receiver, it receives video
on Cable channel 59 and only on Cable channel 59. We
do not offer many 434Mhz products any longer because
it is overpriced and it usefullness is quite limited.
