This VCR is perfect for your portable surveillance needs. Police, taxis, and buses could find this VCR extremely useful. The time/date stamp can let you know exactly when something happens, and the alarm inputs allows motion detection recording. You may also program it for regular time recording, just like a normal VCR. You may also activate the panic recording at any time. Panic recording will start recording and record for up to 2 hours.

This unit must be plugged into a cigarette lighter. It will not accomodate a 12 volt power supply to connect to standard household current.

Exclusive video motion detection (VMD) circuitry. This new technology turns this VCR into a Hi-Tech video motion detection activated VCR. Chose any of our wired video cameras and your system is complete. Our VMD chip scans the video image looking for a change in pixels. When movement is detected the unit is activated for a predetermined period of time, then shuts off until movement is detected again.
